2. Use of Local Storage

To provide a personalized experience, the extension utilizes the chrome.storage API. This data is stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers or any third party. We store:

Favorite Verses: So you can re-read scriptures that move you.
Last Viewed Index: To ensure you see a fresh verse each time you open the app.
User Settings: Such as Dark Mode preferences and notification timing.

3. Permissions Disclosure

In accordance with the Chrome Web Store "Single Purpose" policy, we only request permissions necessary for core functionality:

Storage: Required to save your "Favorite" verses and app settings locally.
Notifications: Required to deliver your daily inspirational verse to your desktop.
Alarms: Required to wake the background service worker to trigger scheduled notifications at your preferred time.

4. Third-Party Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your information to outside parties. This extension does not use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or any form of advertising.
