Thank you for choosing Focus Tab. We are committed to a Privacy-First approach. This extension is designed to help you reclaim your focus by temporarily hiding background tabs, creating a distraction-free workspace.

Data Collection & Processing

Focus Tab does NOT collect, store, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII). All operations, including tab management and window organization, occur entirely within your local browser environment. We do not have access to your browsing history, URLs, or tab content.

Permissions & Usage

Following the principle of Least Privilege, Focus Tab only requests the minimum permissions necessary for its core functionality:

• windows: Used to organize your active workspace and manage the secondary container for hidden tabs.
• storage: Used locally on your device to remember the IDs of hidden tabs so they can be restored accurately. No data is synced to external servers.

Note: This extension does NOT require or use the "tabs" permission, ensuring your browsing data remains private.

Zero Third-Party Integration

Focus Tab is a standalone utility. We do not use analytics, tracking scripts, or advertising modules. The extension does not connect to any external APIs or servers.

User Control

You have full control over your data. All stored preferences and tab IDs are cleared automatically when you "Restore Tabs" or can be manually removed by clearing your browser's extension data.
